The History of the Top Ten & Why the Program will work
It started just like every other person that felt with their
own heart to give thus the dream began. While on the road traveling through the Kentucky Blue Grass state, I
was dreaming & thinking saying to the lord how can we help the Rescues that care for these fine Animals.
I thought where is their savior and how will their life be for retirement. My wife and I have donated monthly but
it just was not enough then I realize there is more we could do. While fighting to Expose and Abolishing Horse slaughter we
realized the crowds of people we had connections too. We wanted to work more with the Rescues that played a very hard part
in taking care of the horses. The horse a bibical animal the horse an American Icon the horse an American dream and Pet. Working
with the idea the Top Ten was created. Its first intentions were to reward a Rescue large amounts of donations
for their efforts then later realizing we left out 9 other hard working rescues. We then pushed for the Top Ten to reward
10 listing rescues a month. As the rules on the site expands is pretty much how it works. This is a program that the AQHA,APHA,AAEP,AVMA,BEEF,PORK,POULTRY
Industries should have put into place. Yet to date their true colors expose their money profits ideas which is for slaughter
to support slaughter and reward irresponsible breeding for profits with no retirement for older horses. Sure they say their
Not Pro Slaughter but their efforts speak clearly which is to promote and lie to the public about old unwanted skinny horses,
Property right and horses are running lose all over the state of Kentucky. The Top Ten has been proven to work and now
it will become a National Program as well as welcoming Canadain Rescues into the program. Its the caring hearts of Donors
to keep the love for the horse alive and not on a foreigners plate. There are no unwanted horses nor is it a nesssary evil
to slaughter a horse. Only for profits and the promoting of abuse and neglect. We have since elected our board members
and they to will help share our goals to be met. Im very happy and like to thank everyone that has played a part in the program.
To date the Program has Rewarded more than $15,000 dollars to needy Rescues.
